Go Back To Where You Came From

I enjoyed "Go Back To Where You Came From" simply because it makes you think about the effects and what others go through. We are kept here in Australia, safe and unaware of what actually happens to the people we think are "bad" for trying to seek asylum in Australia. What we don't realise that these people go through so much pain, stress, trauma, fear and they basically have nothing. I feel that they should be aloud to live here and work, even in the country they refuge in they should be aloud to live freely and work without having to hide away and have the fear of getting arrested.

All people should be treated equally.

Asylum Seeker Persuasive Writing

It is legal to seek asylum in Australia, even if you arrive on a boat without a visa. People smugglers charge up to $20,000 for asylum seekers to take a journey to countries like Australia to apply for refugee status. If you were an asylum seeker, what would you do?

Personally if I had the chance, I would get on a boat and come to Australia, risks and all. After watching "Go Back To Where You Came From" I have realised that after every risk you have taken, why not take another risk to freedom. Why wouldn't you?
This has made me actually think about these people, how they have gone through so much. Take every possible chnace you have to make your life and this world a better place.
